Groups for everyone

Here at Monks Road Methodist we want to try and meet the needs of our community. One of the ways in which we can do this is to provide a variety of groups. We currently have both a men’s and women’s group, and a craft group.  Find out more about each of our groups below.

1st Tuesday Circle is a friendly group that meets on the first Tuesday of most months. Different speakers come and share their knowledge and experiences with the group, and it is a wonderful way to learn about a wide variety of topics. It meets at 2pm and anyone is welcome to join – just come along. Please note there is no meeting in August.

Our friendly craft group meets at 10:30 am on a Monday morning in the church. Each member brings their own work-in-progress with them, and they enjoy crafting in the company of others. They then enjoy a soup lunch together.

Everyone is welcome to join them, no matter which crafts you enjoy, or whether you’re a total beginner or seasoned pro. Simply come along to the next meeting, dates of which will be given in each month’s newsletter, which you can find on our news page.

During the Winter Months our church is open on a Monday morning as a Warm Space. All are welcome to join us for a hot drink and biscuits.
